BA/BS or equivalent business experience
Primary Role:
? Product cost management and analysis
? Inventory costing management and control
? Management control and support for product costing and gross margin analysis for all products and inventories
Job Duties:
? Manage inventory and product costing process and analysis
? Manage cost rollup and valuation activity
? Develop and maintain reliable internal control systems for all inventory transactions
? Reconcile inventory balances and activity
? Prepare gross margin and variance analysis for all products
? Manage inventory reporting and compliance requirements
? Manage requirements for external audits and reporting
? Manage the company?s transaction processing systems for inventory
? Implement best practices for inventory processing, control and costing
? Develop and maintain reliable internal control systems for the inventory cycle
? Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements for inventory management
? Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
Experience Required:
? Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Cost Accounting and Inventory Management and Control
? Demonstrated knowledge of inventory valuation and product costing requirements and proven ability to effectively manage all aspects of cost accounting and inventory control
Skills Required:
? Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
? Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely information
? High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
