Brightcove is looking for an outstanding Creative Director to lead corporate branding and design direction for global marketing communications, website initiatives and product branding. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Marketing and working closely with business leads, the Creative Director translates marketing objectives into creative strategies, design directives and integrated plans. Day-to-day activities include management of internal and external resources, graphic design, website design, collateral development, online advertising, promotions, and video production.
Responsibilities:
- Provide both strategic creative direction and hands-on design execution as an individual contributor
- Uphold brand standards, set creative tone and maintain global brand consistency
- Work directly with marketing leadership, business line leads and other internal stakeholders to conceptualize, execute and deliver compelling collateral and campaigns
- Oversee projects relating to lead generation, website optimization and usability, event marketing and corporate communications
- Manage, mentor and review work from Brightcove's design and video production staff
- Hire, manage and direct work from agency partners
Requirements:
- Outstanding portfolio of innovative design experiences including both visual and interaction design
- 10+ years of experience leading interactive design projects
- Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timeframes
- An in-depth understanding of HTML / CSS and hands on experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign required
- Video production experience required
- Experience designing mobile apps a plus
- Ideal candidate must have prior experience at a design firm, advertising agency or in-house marketing communications department
