Looking for a bright, enthusiastic, organized and results-focused intern to assist the marketing department of a global software company. The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of traditional marketing tactics and have some applied experience working with graphics (web and print), website design and email marketing. Responsibilities:
-Designing graphics, flyers, banner ads, e-vites and other marketing
material for major events hosted by Jobscience
-Develop multi-media, interactive demos/online training video content to
support sales and education initiatives
-Support pay per click advertising, general web advertising programs, link
building programs and industry related portals/blogs. In addition to
online programs, this position is responsible for web management and web
programs (not developer focused)
-Maintain corporate website by coordinating with the marketing manager to
insure updated content and site design. Track and report site traffic on
a weekly and monthly basis
-Strong organization and project management skill interfacing with all
areas of the Company
-Design templates and create HTML for email campaigns and website pages,
in addition to website banners.
Qualifications:
-Strong understanding of, and affinity for, social media and social
networking with the ability to efficiently research trends and best
practices
-Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related
field (e.g., English, Marketing/Communications, or Public Relations)
-Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications
is a plus
-Creativity and ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines,
strong attention to detail
-InDesign and Photoshop highly desired. Knowledge of HTML and graphic
design a plus
-Excellent written communcation skills with the ability to provide written
reports as needed.
-Salesforce.com experience a plus but not required
This is a paying intership for 3 months, that may lead to a full time position.
