Creative - Project Manager SmartPak

Do you love to organize and multitask? Do you thrive in a fast-paced and fun team environment If so, you?ll find Project Manager-Creative to be an exciting position as you help drive and manage SmartPak?s Creative workflow and processes. This position will help supervise our Creative Production Team, as well as manage the Creative team projects to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. The Project Manager-Creative will act as a liaison, communicating deadlines and project timelines within the Creative team and inter-departmentally.The nitty-gritty:
Oversee production and project management
Collaborate with the Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designers to define requirements, expectations, and deadlines for creative projects
Manage approval process to move projects forward
Participate in relevant creative strategy meetings to determine project specifications and to create production and execution timelines for projects
Oversee communications with outside printers (including quoting, sending, and approval of proofs)
Balance multiple projects while maintaining deadlines; archives and organizes files accordingly
Manage the production of catalogs, direct mail pieces, signage, advertising, and other print marketing collateral
Research, develops, implements new procedures, and delegates tasks for catalog
Manage editing of catalog pages (price updates, paragraph styles, set up templates, etc.)
Lead workload and workflow meetings
Manage team growth on a group an individual basis, keeping a positive attitude and sense of humor
Other exciting projects as needed!
Position must-have's:
Bachelor?s degree in graphic design or a related field
3-5 years? experience project managing in a fast-paced environment (catalog or print production experience preferred)
Strong design, verbal, organizational, and time management skills
Critical, conceptual thinker with excellent attention to detail
Strong time and project management skills with the ability to self- mange and work part of a team within a dynamic environment
Strong skills In InDesign and Photoshop on a Mac platform, plus working knowledge of Illustrator and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Project Management software preferred (Smart Sheets, Base Camp, etc.)
Copywriting and/or copy editing experience a plus
Horse experience is preferred but not required
Sense of humor
