The Creative Services Manager will be a hands-on leader, responsible for developing and executing the creative vision of the company within the marketing organization. This person will evaluate, establish, implement and manage a long-term corporate creative strategy to raise brand awareness and engage clients and prospects alike. The ideal candidate will deliver the highest quality creative work as well as develop programs, campaigns, policies and protocols to support the team?s key operating principles of efficiency, consistency and agility ? and most importantly, driving the bottom line. Emphasis will be on cross-functional teamwork, driving breakthrough creative problem-solving solutions and delivering world-class brand initiatives that support both corporate and business line revenue objectives, with a strong focus on web/online creative strategy and execution. This position will be report into the SVP head of Marketing and have high visibility with executive management.
Responsibilities:
Manage writers, designers, website/online staff, event marketing and other in-house marketing staff, as well as third party consultants, agencies and external resources to achieve marketing objectives and business goals of client acquisition, adoption, penetration and loyalty
Manage email and direct marketing campaigns; advertising; website content development; collateral; corporate identity; event and tradeshow management; promotions; marketing and creative services
Manage the creative process including a production and project management system to successfully deploy engagement, negotiation and influencing of senior leaders and staff across the organization
Manage and inspire a diverse marketing team that serves as the project owners with regards to usage across the company for marketing campaigns and programs, web properties, internal and external marketing and corporate communications.
Ensure on-time, in-scope and on-brand design, writing and review of high-value marketing content, email templates and foundational assets which can be used by key communications? stakeholders across the company;
Effectively engage with cross-functional teams to drive for efficient, agile and consistent online and in-product marketing deliverables including product management, sales, client support, technical publications, legal and other business units
Manage the creative services function including selection, mentoring, coaching, team-building, performance management and assessment, and recognition to build a mature, high-performing and engaged team while ensuring on-time and on-scope delivery of creative deliverable
Effectively manage the marketing budget, expenses, reporting and forecasting, commensurate with ROI of marketing projects and initiatives
Provide marketing and creative analytics and metrics, to measure and evaluate effectiveness of marketing efforts and activities
Desired Skills & Experience:
7-10+ years of work experience in corporate marketing or agency creative/production/resources department, including 5+ years of managerial experience of marketing staff; ideally within a high-growth technology, financial services arena and/or e-commerce company
Residential mortgage industry experience is ideal
Demonstrated expertise in a managing both in-house staff and external creative resources to drive project completion from concept through to completion and analysis
Demonstrated success in evaluating, planning, developing, implementing and managing a long-term creative strategy on behalf of a corporate organization
Superior program management experience including outstanding project management skills, change management and stakeholder engagement to enable comprehensive follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities with agility and efficiency in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic environment
Demonstrated business marketing acumen and its application to a creative function / organization
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the entire marketing awareness-building, preference and demand generation process including market analysis, strategy development, implementation and measurement
A thorough understanding of marketing, sales and channel communications requirements for B2B
Education and Experience:
BA/BS or equivalent work experience
