Credit and Collections/Accounts Receivable Analyst

The Credit and Collections/AR Analyst will be primarily responsible for working with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customers to bill and collect on receivables. This is a fast paced environment and ability to multi-task effectively is a must.
The Credit and Collections/AR Analyst will also be responsible for establishing credit limits and maintaining the customer records. This position reports to the Accounting Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively collect on Accounts Receivable
- Establishing customer credit limits using financials, D&B and references
- Take an active role in identifying and resolving any issues
- Research and update customer records and install base as necessary
- Assist with Accounts Receivable/Credit and Collections month end close functional responsibilities
- Assist with daily invoicing, invoice review and distribution to customers.
- Support manager with special projects as requested
- 2+ years Collections background
- 2+ years of establishing customer credit limits using financials, D&B and references
- Proven ability to invoices and process business accurately yet efficiently under time sensitive situations
- Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must, as problem resolution with Sales, Customer Support, Customers and Finance are key components of the job
- Solid PC skills â€" Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities, with initiative
- Results oriented with strong attention to detail
- Team player
- Proven ability to think independently; quick learner; technology friendly
- Familiarity with Oracle Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Service Contract and Install Base modules strongly desired
- Working knowledge of hardware and software revenue recognition rules is a must
- Four year college degree preferred
