POSITION: Senior Business Consultant (Presales) LOCATION: Western portion of USA SUMMARY: To be an integral part of the sales and account management team for sales opportunities for all aspects of Infor CRM Epiphany products in North America. The sales cycle will include assistance in qualification, proposal and definition of the solution through to the high level design and structure of the implementation for hand over to the CRM ICS team. In addition the role will include product evangelism and support and sales of new/additional modules to existing customers. Pre-sales consultants would liaise with the Product Management, Product Marketing, ICS and Support teams to ensure that our customers receive solid Infor services and on-going support. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • All new business pre-sales activities • RFI/RFP Responses, bid proposals, Discovery visits and board presentations • CRM 'vision', strategy and product presentations and demonstrations • Assist sales team in defining local propositions and go to market strategies • Support the engagement with the Partner Community to promote our products and deal with any technical issues, queries and training requirements. • Technical management and support of existing customer base • Keeping up with market trends, competitive information and regular input to product marketing and development discussions EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • College degree; • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience REQUIRED SKILLS: Business • Industry experience of Telco & Media, Financial Services, Travel & Leisure, Gaming & Hospitality and Retail. • Experience in enterprise software applications. • Exposure, knowledge or usage of Siebel, PSFT, Salesforce.com, SAP, SAS, Unica, Aprimo, or other operational or analytical CRM solutions. • Understanding of reporting and analytics. • Understanding of CRM requirements specifically with regard to Sales force automation, marketing and customer interaction management Technical • Data Warehouse & SQL database experience/knowledge, ideally SQL and/or Oracle • Exposure to Java based technologies • Understanding of the business and technical benefits of J2EE • Ability to understand and explain technical architectures • Willing to learn how to configure the base CRM products in order to create customised demos Other • Good written communication and presentation skills • Be presentable and willing to travel • Be a good team player with the maturity to understand how to work with other individuals who make up the “virtual teamâ€.
