The Curriculum Developer/Trainer - Security Products position provides a highly motivated individual with the opportunity to develop high-quality technical training for Infoblox Network Security Products to our employees and partners worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Developing custom training courses in in-person, virtual, and online formats
- Ensuring the readiness of all course materials and equipment prior to delivery
- Maintaining high-quality technical courseware and lab exercises for Infoblox Network Security products
- Coordinating and delivering training worldwide for internal and external audiences
- Conducting Instructor Certification Workshops and Train the Trainer sessions
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in delivery of courseware and related business experience in the networking security industry
- The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent related work experience
Curriculum Development Skills:
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- The ability to effectively and efficiently communicate complex technical concepts to a broad international audience
- The ability to quickly understand new technologies and concepts
- A team-focused, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects to completion in fast-paced, deadline-driven engineering environment
- Enhancing technical education service activities and implementing strategies to meet the needs of customers and partners
A working knowledge of some or all of the following areas:
- Working knowledge, and experience with at least one of the following firewalls vendor (Cisco, CheckPoint, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Juniper/Netscreen)
- Knowledge of stateful firewall behavior and management
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and behaviors through a network and specific devices (primarily firewalls)
- Knowledge of the OSI model (what occurs at each layer, and what devices operate at each layer)
- 2 -3 years of hands on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining firewalls (multiple vendors)
- Working knowledge of IDP/IDS systems
- CIDR notation, solid understanding of routing/subnets
