Custom Applications Software Engineer VBrick Systems

Design and develop customer-specific software applications as well as applications for the VBrick Unified Communications product line. This position involves researching and designing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges and working both individually and collaboratively with other engineering teams to implement these solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design & develop a wide variety of innovative custom-built software applications for new and existing VBrick customers
Design & develop next-generation solutions using Sharepoint and Lync/OCS for VBrick?s Unified Communications product line
Provide engineering assistance to other VBrick personnel, including Support Services, Field Engineering, Marketing, etc.

Qualifications:

Minimum BS in Software Engineering or equivalent discipline and a minimum three years of relevant software experience
Software expertise in C#.NET, Web Programming (HTML, ASP.NET, JQuery, etc.), Visual Studio, Web Services, Silverlight
Programming experience with Microsoft Unified Communications
Lync UCMA 3.0 and/or OCS UCMA 2.0
Sharepoint BCS connectors for Enterprise/FAST search
Sharepoint web-parts
Networking experience
LDAP
Domain/network configuration
Hyper-V and/or VMWare virtualization
Experience with video technologies including Windows Media Player, MPEG-2, H.264, Windows Media Services desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
