The Customer Business Coordinator will work cooperatively with the Sales Leader and other organizational members to grow existing retail accounts and to improve satisfaction expectations and monthly sales plans at appropriate gross margins. Responsible to monitor/analyze sales activity/data both internally and in the market to fully understand consumer demand dynamics. Responsible for organizing consumption, replenishment, and transactional data via specific account and internal data base applications. Organizes information to assist sales and category management for customer presentations while actively participating in the sales process .
Examples of Typical Activities:
Proactively recommend items to the account to increase satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
Prepare and distribute daily and weekly consumption and ?state of the business? communication reports
Design order strategies to help stores maintain appropriate in stock levels to maximize sales and re-orders
Collaborate with replenishment managers and buyers and communicate inventory and/or order status issues. Suggest orders when appropriate
Perform analysis on items that are under or overselling forecasts and work with accounts and Evenflo to make adjustments as needed.
Participate in internal monthly forecasts calls to ensure forecasts are accurate and identify any potential disruptions in product flow.
Review future month forecast to ensure rate of sale, promotional activity, and seasonal profiles are applied appropriately.
Work with Sales Director to create Business Plan for upcoming year.
Review forecasts for accuracy.
Place import orders and manage IDC inventory.
In customer line reviews cover scorecard analysis and address any specific issues.
Review score card metrics
Consumption vs. order tracking
Review warehouse and store inventories and confirm appropriate inventory levels
Communicate unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products with Supply Chain
Item set up and item maintenance
Participate in forecast/demand and S&OP reviews
Provide competitive information and assist in preparing line logic updates
Analyze market data and assist in developing strategic plans to grow account revenue and improve profitability
Identify new data sources to improve analytical information via internal or external activities
Assist in promotional evaluations ? benchmark data
Fill requests for information or samples
Work closely with internal cross-functional teams
Coordinate and Manage retail/special projects
Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management
Travel as required to meet with account planners/business analysts
BS Degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales or analytical sales support positions
Consumer Products Goods category experience preferred but not required
Required Technical Competencies
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Strong Microsoft Excel ? spread sheet and data base applications
Knowledge of customer POS Software systems
Demonstrated ability to manage data flow and monitor information
Excellent verbal, writing and presentation communication skills
