We're building a team of highly talented salespeople. We want people who are passionate about healthy horses and happy riders, who love to win and have a desire to learn, and who always aim to amaze their customer by doing the little things that make a big difference.This individual will be responsible for developing, cultivating and managing relationships with Barn Professionals as well as the clients within barns. Barn Consultants promote customer satisfaction and loyalty by demonstrating an understanding of the Barn Professionals' and their clients' horse health care needs, as well as tack, apparel, and supplies, with the goal of increasing sales of SmartPaks, supplements, tack, equipment and barn supplies within the barn accounts. This person will also help identify and qualify new business opportunities with barn account prospects as well as provide exemplary customer service. This position is based fulltime in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Responsible for all aspects of sales and service including:
Contacting barn professionals through phone and email including cold calling to barn prospects,
Confidently making product recommendations regarding SmartPaks, supplements and supply product lines,
Driving brand building initiatives through the execution of marketing programs and promotions,
Account management duties including answering calls/emails, placing orders, providing solutions, and
Maintaining quality relationships to retain clients and win referrals of new Barn accounts.
Other expectations:
Desire to participate in continuing education programs,
Aspire to build and grow a sales career, and
Ability to meet, and energy to exceed, agreed upon sales goals and metrics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree,
Horse ownership or riding experience required,
Sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal,
High energy, motivated, confident individual with integrity and judgment,
Previous sales experience and customer service experience preferred, and
Sense of humor!
