Customer Care Specialist Good Start Genetics
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Good Start Genetics is currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Customer Care team. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have the ability to multi-task. This position will be our primary liaison between our customers, lab operations and sales team regarding all of our customer?s genetic testing needs.
Essential Job Functions:
Handles all customer inquiries such as, test information, specimen requirements, patient results, service failures and billing inquiries.
Obtains missing clinical and billing information from our customers and enters information into the systems.
Performs insurance verification when needed for our customers.
Interacts on a daily basis with the Lab Director on certain operational aspects of the testing service.
Interacts with genetic counseling team regarding patient feedback and certain inquiries of a technical and genetic nature.
Participates in the overall development and refinement of initial and ongoing customer care strategy.
Assists with design and development of all elements of customer service, including transactional elements, routine inquiry handling, complaint handling, issue identification, and triages calls, as appropriate to GCs and/or Medical and Laboratory Director.
Assists in obtaining ?field? feedback and suggestions/issues/complaints and provides input to continual improve on the company?s product and service.
Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Reports to the Vice President of Customer Care and Reimbursement
Minimum 5 ? 8 years in the customer service function within the healthcare industry
Experience in healthcare reimbursement a plus
Experience in the IVF / Reproductive Health field or Genetic Disease Diagnostics field a plus
Bachelor?s degree preferred
