We are looking for Interns to help us build a comprehensive database of our customer contract information. We are seeking a sharp, legal and/or financial-minded individual with solid data analysis and research skills. The Contract Intern is responsible for review, compilation, analysis, comparison and interpretation of customer license agreements. This position reports to the Finance Analyst. This position is temporary, but qualified candidates who demonstrate proficiency and willingness to take on other responsibilities may be offered a full-time position in our Legal or Finance department, or even in other departments at PeopleAdmin depending on the fit.
The Customer Contract database will be used to help us identify critical business risks and risk reduction opportunities, rank & prioritize contracts for repapering efforts, develop contract improvement strategies & processes, and execute against those goals. This project is foundational to many other company-wide processes and is integral to the rollout of our aggressive growth strategy.
Responsible for review, compilation, analysis, comparison, interpretation of customer license agreements, 60% time will be spent reviewing contract, and 40% time will be spent carrying out finance/accountant activities
Perform data mining via external databases (i.e. IPEDS Data Center)
Query data in our Accounting System of Record (NetSuite)
Update our CRM (Salesforce) with confirmed customer information
Perform data extraction repetively to build consistency
Skills & Requirements
Law, Finance, Business, or Accounting students or recent alumni preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
Ability to maintain confidential company information.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, decision making, and problem solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with and database or CRM (SalesForce or NetSuite preferred).
Desire to learn and advance in a fast paced environment, and be capable of regularly using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
Must be able to work at least 40 hours/week Monday through Friday during standard business hours (8:00am ? 5:00pm).
