Customer Engineering Internship SiTime
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED SiTime is looking to fill a 3 to 6 month part-time internship position in its Customer Engineering group, starting immediately. This position will be served well by an overachieving, talented Electrical Engineering student who has a good grasp of the fundamentals of analog circuits, RF signals and instrumentation.

The Customer Engineering Intern will work closely with senior engineering staff at SiTime to complete projects related to RF signal analysis and measurements. This will entail contribution to instrumentation automation, development and debug of mixed-signal boards, and documentation of results.
The Customer Engineering Intern should possess good software development and analytical skills and have prior hands-on experience with board-level design and bring-up. Previous experience with high-precision laboratory equipment and automation is a plus. He/she should currently be either an undergraduate or a first year Masters student in Electrical Engineering.

Define, develop, and bring-up tools required for addressing customer needs:
Mixed-signal boards, instrumentation systems and automation software
Collect and analyze key parameters of SiTime products using high bandwidth digital scopes, phase noise analyzers and other high-precision RF test equipment
Generate lab test reports as needed
Candidate pursuing a BSEE or MSEE degree with concentration in Analog and Instrumentation
Exposure to PLL and related timing circuits
Knowledge of termination techniques and transmission line theory
Experience using real-time digital scopes and spectrum analyzers
Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills
Self-driven team player able to thrive in a fast paced environment
