We are looking for a Global Systems Manager for the Customer Experience team. She/he sits in the Customer Experience (CX) organization, works closely with Airbnb?s IT and Product organizations, and with third-party vendors, on the requirements for CX systems and is responsible for the success of the systems that support Airbnb?s Customer Experience team. She/he works independently on all projects and is responsible for implementation, tracking and outcome.
Implementing/Supporting high end Customer Experience systems, such as phone, chat, email, CRM and ticketing systems
Defining and improving Customer Experience workflows
Translating the needs of the Customer Experience into systems requirements and coordinating these with technical teams
Developing strategic plans for the use of CX systems in improving Airbnb customer experiences and growing the Airbnb business.
Managing a global staff of 1-2 project coordinators initially
Developing plans for growing the CX Systems team and functions
Desired Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:
Fluent in reading and writing English
Background in business and IT, preferably in enterprise systems consulting or management
Familiarity with Genesys systems highly desirable
Strong project management skills
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to build internal networks to accomplish goals through collaboration with resources across teams.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
A self-starter who takes initiative and is action oriented.
Can balance the need for quick turnaround with longer-term strategic efforts
Is flexible and can deal effectively with changes in priorities or ambiguity
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to adverse situations
