Summary:
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Programs and Solution Partners, the Customer Reference and Solution Partner Marketing Manager, serves a global role in building relationships and creating opportunities with key customers and strategic partners. This position requires a high degree of social interaction across sales, sales leadership, c-level customers, and partners in various stages of development: from recruitment, to nurturing, to the continuous development of programs, multimedia/SEM/PR assets, and sales tools.
Responsibilities include:
Customer Reference Management
Partner with Sales to recruit new references; develop videos/case studies/programs to promote customer testimonials; collaborate with PR and Social Media Marketing to evangelize customer champions; nurture and manage hi-touch relationships with key customers; track and maintain customer reference dashboard (pipeline, wins, sales spiffs, etc.), and communicate/report on metrics and status on an ongoing basis.
Solution Partner Marketing
Assist in partner enablement and GTM activities:
Develop joint sales tools and co-marketing collateral
Work with Field Marketing to organize roadshows and field activities
Facilitate sales onboarding and account/territory mapping across sales organizations
Develop, plan and execute product communications and upsell/cross-sell programs
Work with product marketing to ensure that all product communications are planned and delivered as required; develop e-learning curriculums
Work with Field Marketing to ensure that communication plans are in line with overall outreach programs/calendar
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing.
Experience:
8+ years of marketing and communications experience
Skills:
A proven track record in marketing and communications within an IT environment
Experience developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communications plans based on sales and business goals
Experience in developing and implementing lead generation and lead nurturing activities that drive sales growth
Experience of working in a global matrix structure
Both a team player and a self-starter, with a strong drive and goal orientated approach
Comprehensive experience with the following marketing program components: telemarketing, online marketing (email, syndication, advertising), events including tradeshows, conferences, road shows, seminars and webinars, direct mail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong experience in CRM systems (i.e. SFDC) and database management
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Communications Program Execution
Plan and manage/execute education and cross-sell/upsell programs for existing customers based on current plans
Customer Success Story Program Creation (regional)
Define customer profiles/references we will need in region (what topics, products, markets, etc.)
Create library of success stories (for sales and media plan) by product and vertical
Create media plan to leverage customer wins in tandem with releases in key areas of focus
