Leads integrated, cross-functional teams in the development of programs of high risk and complexity. Ensures delivered products meet defined requirements and are of high quality. Interfaces with internal and external customers to understand changing conditions so as to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Responsible for proactive risk management and execution of defined risk mitigation plans. Recommends alternatives to address contention issues. Provides periodic progress reports; briefs senior management on program status. Leads proposal activities and has business development and portfolio management responsibilities for assigned programs.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. MBA preferred
12 years of electronics, software or systems engineering design experience and/or
10 years program management experience
Experience working in a customer facing role preferred
Experience managing product lines/portfolios a plus
Strong technical background
Attention to detail
Strong team formation and maintenance ability
Strong leadership skills ? ability to drive tasks to completion
Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders as well as customers
Keen focus on customer satisfaction
PMP a plus
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop and maintain program master schedule, financial plan, and risk management plan
Hold periodic program technical and team meetings
Maintain excellent customer relationships
Develop and maintain program management plan
