The Customer Reference Manager will report to our Public Relations Manager and will be responsible for the development and execution of a company-wide customer success marketing program. You will be helping our customers in telling their stories through various media tools including written case studies, videos, webinars, social media, etc. You will also be responsible for a variety of deliverables supporting marketing and sales initiatives, which are aligned to the marketing plan, and in support of customer acquisition, product launches, corporate campaigns, and customer marketing activities. A demonstrated track record in proactive communication, program management, sales minded strategies and PR are key success factors for this position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES: 
Support Corporate Communications team through
- Assist in development of the customer reference program by way of relationships with the field for sales to sales references and customer testimonial related business
- Develop a multi-faceted customer program, including peer-to-peer references, customer proof points, written collateral, speaking opportunities and customer learning events
- Work with our enterprise sales team to identify potential customer references and develop tailored communication plans
- Understand how and where to apply customer references throughout our sales and marketing efforts
- Build customer relationships over the long-term to benefit both us and the customer
- Backing of ongoing PR reporting and success metrics
- Social media action
- Cooperation with global marketing and sales teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+years of in a customer reference role
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys working with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft software
- General knowledge in the security or networking industries strongly preferred, though not required
- Knowledge of new communications models, including blogs, video editing, etc. a plus
- Experience securing customers for press testimonials, case studies, and end-user events also plus
- Bachelor's degree; preferably in English, Communication, Journalism, Business, Marketing or related field.
