Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is directly responsible for entering orders, answering telephones, assisting customers by telephone and through emails, processing warranties, brochure coordination and a variety of other duties as assigned. We are seeking an energetic and personable self-starter who is passionate about avionics and is committed to creating new opportunities in our dynamic business.
Essential Functions:
- Handle telephone and email inquiries regarding Aspen products, orders and issues
- Take sales orders from Dealers and enter them into the system for fulfillment
- Process warranty claims
- Introduce new or improved products to our current customers and make recommendations based on their needs
- Maintain records of all calls made and notes of interactions to ensure timely follow-up
- Respond to inquires and leads provided through various sources
- Develop a solid understanding of customer requirements
- Responsible for a significant amount of data entry which requires accuracy and attention to detail
- Must become very knowledgeable of Aspen Avionics products and the marketplace so that customers will have an accurate understanding of product features and capabilities
- Must always represent the company or department in a professional manner
- Report special issues or concerns to the Customer Service Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum one year Customer Service experience preferred
- Ability to quickly grasp and clearly convey technical information so that others understand it
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
- Accurate and comprehensive data entry skills and good overall computer skills
- Ability to develop close productive working relationships at all levels both inside and outside of the Company
- Must be able to effectively multi-task
- Self starter, who is energetic, dependable, enthusiastic, resourceful, creative, has strong work ethic and has excellent follow-through skills
- You must be able to reside in or near Albuquerque, NM (relocation is not available for this position)
Education:
Minimum two years of college preferred. High School diploma required.
