Job Description:
Answer calls from clients promptly and professionally. Identifies and resolves customer inquiries. Support sales initiatives through proactive account contact. Answer both basic and detailed questions about the VAP cholesterol test, lpid abnormalities, and test results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Answer Calls
Answer calls courteously and profesionally.
Answer in bound ACD calls within 30 seconds.
Maintain a high quality service level fo 98%.
Answer customer inquiries accirately with sufficient detail to resolve the customer's inquiry on the VAP test as well as other questions related to lip abnormalities.
Coordinate lab supply orders.
Support Sales
Set up and Manage Study Group Programs.
Manage Validation request and test results.
Proactively contact 10 accounts per week and update sales contact report.
Send welcome package and initiate contact with all new accounts.
Account retention:
Proactive calls on all assigned territories/accounts that are decresing in revenue.
Proactive communication with sales team and management on issues and trends.
Daily Administrative Support and Follow Up
Promptly resolve problem paper work inquiries from the receiving dept, including:
specimens received without requistion
Specimens received that do not match requisition
Patient name verification
verify test ordered
Fax/email test results to clients as specified by location
Review manifest and requisitions for Wellness accounts and Trade Shows
Reconcile outstanding electronic test orders
Regularly monitor the fax queue throughout the day
Lab Information System
Add new accounts as information is received
Maintain/Update data for exiting accounts in system
Maintain contract files for Wellness and Direct Bill Contracts
Establish Web access and maintenance for Web access accounts
Special Projects
Each CSR is expected to perform special project work as needed, on a regular basis, or as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
For succcess, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma required; some college course work in business or healthcare preferred; 2-3 years of customer service experience or equivalent healthcare experience; Intermediate competency in Microsoft, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required.
Language Skills
Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language including the meaning and spelling of words; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others and explain work related concepts, ideas and progress; ability to document clearly and without error.
Customer Service Skills
Must have exceptional customer service skills, practicing the concept of giving more than required.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and ability to analyze accounting reports required.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Physical Demands
To perform the essential function, the incumbent may sit and utilize the phone and computer for 6-8 hours each day. There may be occasion to lift/carry a minimum of 25 pounds.
Work Environment
The performance of this position requires exposure to all facility areas with florescent lighting and traditional office equipment.
