Customer Service Representative Niagara Thermal
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Job Description:
Provide customer service of new and existing accounts by quoting company products directly to the customer within target gross margin guidelines or with the approval from the Inside Sales Supervisor with the goal of increasing sales and profitability.
Maintain existing customer relationships by handling customer complaints through an accurate understanding of the issue and by utilizing standardized procedures to provide an effective and timely resolution.
Maintain standardized operations procedures to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy of data entered in Vantage and Empowering Systems.
Create and enter purchase orders into Vantage system. Check all vendor orders for accuracy.
Place purchase orders with vendors. Follow up on all open vendor orders for processing, delivery, and quality issues in a timely manner.
Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray Thermshield and affiliates in a positive manner.
Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with customer, vendor, and Company business standards, policies, and procedures. Adherence to Thermshield employee handbook and HR initiatives.
Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement. Implement changes necessary to improve processes, completeness, and accuracy.
Knowledge, understanding, compliance, and enforcement of all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

2 years advanced customer service aptitude or equivalent in relevant work experience required. Associates Degree preferred.
Ability to learn different materials and their properties.
Ability to accurately maintain records, quotes, and customer information.
Comprehension of both the decimal and metric systems.
Ability to tactfully address customer issues, such as late deliveries or quality problems.
Comfortable with interacting with foreign entities and languages.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills.
Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
