Description:Allconnect is launching a new program, Simple Choice, in partnership with multiple Utility Service Providers. We are seeking individuals to provide a world-class service experience to this new customer base. This role not only represents Allconnect but also represents our Utility partners, whose commitment to providing high customer satisfaction is priority number one. We need people who are energetic, detail-oriented and who enjoy working in a fun environment. Prior customer service experience is very helpful, but solid computer skills, attention to detail, and a cheerful demeanor will lead to success.
Handle customer orders via inbound phone calls, working with transferred Utility customers.
Navigate multiple customer information and order entry systems.
Input customer information into one or more computer systems accurately and proficiently.
Effectively communicate with customers, building rapport as appropriate and using empathy when necessary.
Demonstrate commitment and professionalism to the role through superb attendance, punctuality and adherence to Allconnect?s employee code of conduct. Required Competencies: (Skills needed to be successful)
Proficiency with all Microsoft spreadsheets and applications
Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm accurately.
Excellent English grammar skills (fluency in Spanish also a plus); good oral and written communication skills.
Dedication to self-development.
Good organizational skills and ability to work under stress.
Strong attention to detail.
HS Diploma or GED
Associates Degree or equivalent work experience highly desired.
1?2 years high volume call center experience is highly preferred
1 year of prior customer service experience preferred, with history of demonstrated success
Enthusiastic, upbeat personality is extremely important in this setting
Exceptional computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Internet; experience with multiple windows also desired
Excellent phone presence and etiquette; clear, intelligent speaking voice a must
Effective oral and written communication; good spelling and grammar is critical
High level of professionalism and a consistent, reliable work ethic necessary
Must have superior time management and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and perform well under pressure
Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail is necessary at all times
Strong problem solving skills and troubleshooting ability required daily
Reliable attendance and punctuality are expected daily
Access to reliable transportation is a requirement
