Zoosk is looking for a customer service representative to join our expanding customer support team. We are looking for someone with extraordinary customer service skills to be part of our fast-paced, dynamic culture. Responsibilities include responding to customer phone calls, email and help requests; reviewing content uploaded by members; removing and taking action regarding objectionable material; and other administrative and support duties as assigned.
MUST have business level English read/write and spoken language skills. There will be a written exam during the interview process.
MUST have recent online customer service experience working in a fast paced, high volume call center and email support environment; familiarity with online CRM tools required.
MUST be committed to providing superior customer service in an enthusiastic manner and exhibit flexibility when day-to-day tasks are adjusted based on business needs.
Due to the needs of our business the scheduled days and hours may vary. Schedules may include a weekend day and an 8-hour shift between 7:30AM to 6:00PM.
Answer a high volume of customer help requests received via telephone and email in a professional, friendly, and accurate manner
Research customer accounts and make decisions regarding billing, usage, and other service areas
Review a high volume of content uploaded by members (photos, profiles, text) for objectionable material
Review, make decisions and take appropriate action regarding abuse reports, based upon guidelines and documentation outlining Zoosk?s community standards
Objectionable material may include nudity and pornography, as well as violence or abusive language; you must demonstrate comfort handling sensitive material professionally and appropriately
Proactively identify support issues and communicate to customer service management
Assist with other customer service and translation tasks as assigned
Previous online customer service experience, minimum 1 year
Call center/phone support experience, minimum 3 years
Excellent soft skills
Must be very detailed oriented, organized, and able to use multiple systems appropriately
Ability to learn quickly and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment
Ability to make independent decisions and exercise good judgment
Ability to work as part of a team and balance workload
Ability to handle conflict appropriately and professionally
Advanced computer skills: Internet, email ticketing system, administrative tools
Experience with social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, mobile apps, etc.)
Experience providing customer support for subscription services or virtual goods.
Online CRM experience (i.e., Zendesk, LivePerson, Salesforce, Right Now, etc.)
Previous start-up experience
Additional language skills a plus! Please indicate any second language skills you possess in your application.
