Customer Service Technical Analyst SciQuest

Responsible for providing second-level technical support to customers of SciQuest?s Enterprise Reagent Manager product. Responsible for logging, investigating and managing response to customer support incidents, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting. Responsible for working with SciQuest clients, and the SciQuest development and professional services teams to support implementations of SciQuest Enterprise products. May also be responsible for completing product testing assignments as needed.
Responsible for technical analysis and resolution of client reported incidents related to software problems.
Perform technical troubleshooting, and data analysis to determine root causes of software problems. Define and implement problem resolution.
Document all internal and external correspondence related to incident resolution.
Develop and maintain proficiency in the company?s software solutions, solution methodologies, and core technologies.
Perform application system upgrades of Enterprise Reagent Manager for clients, including analysis of technical configurations and integrations to diagnose technical and compatibility issues and recommend
Completes development, testing, and installation related to chargeable change client orders, for example for custom reports or procedures.
During release cycle planning, review and prioritize custom support issues classified as ?future release candidates? and propose items for release consideration.
Assist in preparing release documentation, including release notes and installation and configuration instructions
2+ years experience implementing and/or supporting business or enterprise software applications, including software configuration, database initialization, data migration and application installation and set-up
Strong SQL skills
Strong client facing and issue resolution skills in a customer support context
Strong documentation, oral and written communications skills
Proficiency in problem investigation and resolution
Demonstrated ability to perform testing and identify and document test scenarios and test plans
Demonstrated IT infrastructure troubleshooting skills
Experience with the pharmaceutical research environment is preferred
Experience with e-commerce is preferred
