About the Customer Success Manager role:
This role helps our customers get the most value out of their system. By monitoring a focused set of accounts, the CSM makes sure the account is healthy, the users are trained and aware of all Marketo features/functions, and the account derives the maximum value of their subscription. Some key job duties include:
- Proactive contact of your accounts to perform health checks and measure usage levels
- Reactive handling & coordination of escalations
- Quote, manage, and upsell renewals
- Interact and communicate closely with sales, support, and services
The ideal background for this candidate:
- Four to eight years of customer facing experience, including renewals or customer management
- Has done customer success management in the past
- Has handled customer renewals previously
- Skill-set to understand Marketos product, and perform high level reviews of a customers usage
- Can report health, usage, and revenue statistics to management
- Great teamwork and communication abilities.
