What you?ll do
As a Customer Support Agent, you will respond professionally and accurately to all customer inquiries. Responsible for working independently in a cross-functional environment, presenting a professional and positive demeanor at all times. Responsible for resolving product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment and following up to ensure resolution. Offer alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of achieving customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations. Handle customer complaints and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism. Provide external support via phone to end-users to assist with proper product selection, pre sales inquiries and customer service for all Belkin products.
How you?ll do it
Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with a strong orientation towards sound judgment
Support customers via phone, email and chat
Support sales staff with general product use support, cable configuration and product recommendations
Log all handled support calls in a ticketing system
Enter orders in an order entry system
Maintain strong problem solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure
Provide timely, detailed documentation of all customer/partner interactions and issue resolution according to established customer support processes and tools
Place outgoing calls to follow-up with existing customer service inquiries
Take and enter customer sales orders
Process rebate disputes
What you?ll need
High school diploma or the equivalent
Thorough knowledge of Belkin?s product lines and the computer marketplace
Familiarity with computers and general office machines
What you?ve done
Three years? experience in a customer service position
Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
Ability to maintain composure regardless of the situation
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
