Job Description: As an Aptean Customer Support Analyst you will specialize in providing professional support to customers, end users, consultants, and customer-contracted personnel. You will go through our support training program, initially specialize in one product area, but as your knowledge and experience grows, you will be able to learn and take on new areas.
Working in our fast-paced environment, you'll need to be good at multi-tasking as you will need to prioritize and troubleshoot multiple issues, as well as adapt to new challenges quickly.
You will collaborate on a friendly and fun team of Analysts, Engineers, and Consultants in our business casual environment. You will learn to be very good at troubleshooting and fact finding on new issues that are reported electronically and by phone. You will learn how to complete, maintain and process pertinent information in our web-based incident management system. You will also learn how to document solutions in our knowledgebase, using the Knowledge Centered Support methodology.
Specific Job Requirements (a successful candidate must have all of the items listed):
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has had a successful track record of negotiating with varying personalities and temperaments.
Experience with Windows-based software
Typing skills (40+ wpm)
Ability to work 8 am ? 5 pm EDT Mon. through Fri., and flexible shifts as needed (11 am ? 8 pm EDT, or 9 am ? 6 pm EDT)
Excellent Customer Service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer related degree or three to five years related experience and/or training
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following experience or schooling:
Databases (SQL, Access)
Manufacturing experience. Examples may include:
Barcode Scanning equipment
Programming language skills (e.g. C++, Java, HTML)
