Customer Support Engineer Lancope

Responsibilities:
-Deliver expert consulting, design and engineering support to customers for sales opportunities and to improve customer operations.
-Represent the company's technical capabilities and manage day-to-day technical needs of customers.
-Drive successful new product installations upgrades for customers
-Convert external customer requirements into recommendations for new product features.
We are looking for candidates who have:
-Minimum of 5 years of customer support experience for networking/telecommunications applications and solutions.
-Knowledge of IP-related protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and general Routing and Switching protocols.
-Knowledge of Linux/Solaris/UNIX Operating Systems and scripting a plus.
-Strong analytical, problem solving, written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
-BS in Engineering/Computer Science/IT and/or equivalent experience
-Experience with Remote Customer Support
