This internship will be in the Customer Support department. As a Knowledge Manager intern you will be responsible for helping us update the content on our customer web site ? the Customer Hub, and in our product?s Knowledgebase of Open Source software. You will review existing support solutions and format them in a way that helps customers find the answers they need through self servicing. Along with adding content to the web site, you will handle incoming requests to add Open Source information to our large Knowledgebase. By using standard web searching and research methods, you will verify that the content is missing and enter requests for our team of Knowledgebase experts to add them. There is an opportunity for the Intern to do maintenance and new development work on our Customer Hub. This will give you exposure to programming in Salesforce?s java-like API and creating web pages using HTML and CSS. We also need help in producing customer welcome letters and some simple IT work on occasion.
Working with Customer Support, you will gain practical experience in a fast growing software company and learn how enterprise software products are put together and used by large customers.
Beyond the description provided, additional intern projects will depend on your background and experience, and the internship time frame will depend on project availability and your academic schedule.

Add technical content into our Customer web site
Research and enter Customer requests to add Open Source to our Knowledgebase
Maintain and Enhance the Customer Web site by updating web pages and potentially adding new pages and underlying code.
Generate customer letters for closed sales
Additional responsibilities as assigned by Director of Support
Currently pursuing a BS or BA in any field of study at any level
Strong written English language skills
Knowledge of general web terminology
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Open Office
Experience working within a browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome
Excellent communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
