Customer Support Manager Tantalus Systems Corp.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Tantalus is seeking a Customer Support Manager who is a key member of the Field Services team responsible for driving overall customer satisfaction through continued monitoring of customer systems and by responding to customer needs. You will provide day-to-day oversight of all trouble calls and support requests ensuring that the service organization is maintaining the highest level of customer support. You will be a primary customer interface with a passion for customer advocacy and must translate that passion into measurable goals and results. You will plan, support, and grow the Field Service Customer Support organization; frequently making decisions that will determine the next step in the evolution of the team. You will review and report project performance regularly to management and other stakeholders. You may be required to travel as much as one to three weeks per month. You may also be called upon to undertake duties outside those of your principle role as stated above.

Education & Professional Credentials Desired:
Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Computer preferred OR Business/Marketing with Technical/Engineering Experience
Minimum 3 years work experience managing or having a lead role in operational projects
Minimum 5 years customer management experience or operating in a customer facing role
Experience in the Electric Utility or Telecommunications industries
Hands-on working knowledge of Unix/Linux command line utilities and SQL queries
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Business, Marketing, or Sales experience is an asset
System Engineering experience/knowledge is an asset
Work experience implementing/operating/deploying/integrating large information, telemetry, control, or communications systems
Experience tracking and managing short to long-term optimization plans
Experienced presenter or trainer, effective communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences
