Evolution Robotics, Inc. based in Pasadena, CA is a leader in developing robotic products for home automation. Our products, Mint Automatic Floor Cleaners (mintcleaner.com), are intelligent robots for sweeping and mopping hard surface floors. The first Mint was launched in Fall of 2010 and rapidly gained significant market share and positive response from customers. We are committed to creating quality products and exceptional service for our customers and we are looking for smart, motivated representatives to join our Technical Help Desk staff. In this role, the Customer Support Representative will help customers resolve technical issues with their robotic cleaners via phone and email.
Responsibilities
Guide customers through troubleshooting and diagnostics via phone and email to identify and resolve technical issues.
Process and track product service requests.
Obtain understanding of complex product technology and functions.
Help maintain support documentation and materials.
Provide customer service stats regarding call volume and issues encountered to internal team.
Periodically support Quality Assurance efforts to help gain a deeper understanding of our products and how customers experience them.
Represent the voice of the customer to our internal team to support product development.
Qualifications
Customer focused.
Personable and professional. Able to handle and resolve conflict.
Excellent listening and communication skills, written and verbal.
Organized, detail-oriented and self motivated.
Strong follow through skills.
Typing proficiency and ability to capture call notes while speaking with customers.
Ability to translate understanding of complex technology into customer friendly terms.
Required Experience
BA/BS degree.
2+ years customer service experience
Experience with consumer products, preferably consumer electronics encompassing both hardware and software.
