SugarSync is looking for a talented telephone Customer Support Rep with a passion for helping end users resolve product issues. The product is complex and multi-faceted, the customers are diverse and the goal is complete customer satisfaction! Customer Support hours are from 6 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and are divided between three shifts. Key responsibilities in this 5 person team are to:
provide first line telephone support with accompanying email and chat support to SugarSync corporate and personal users from identification of issue through troubleshooting and resolution
escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate in-house groups
document any bugs with newly released versions of the product; participate in the resolution of bugs
recommend content, solutions or alternative processes that may improve the customer experience or our operational efficiencies
2+ years in a technical telephone support role
support of: OS technical issues (Windows & Mac); network technologies (firewalls, VPN, proxy server configurations, Windows TCP/IP), and relevant protocols; wireless technologies (mobile devices/browsers, specifically Android, iOS, and Blackberry, etc.)
great communication skills including keen listening and probing ability
commitment to problem resolution
innate curiosity, sense of humor, common sense, quick thinking, well organized, self-starter, strong attention to detail, flexible, resourceful, able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, mentoring and multi-tasking skills
Previous experience with CRM systems and billing/account management tools highly desired
Education - BS/BA or equivalent experience
