Job Description
Customer Support Specialist is a key technical contributor who will be the first point of contact for customers and be responsible for providing phone support, upgrades and system configuration for Volicon products. This position will also involve testing of customer configurations and new releases. Travel to customer sites to perform on-site troubleshooting, upgrades, etc. might be required. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn, customer oriented, comfortable working in a team environment and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications
Experience working with CRM and/or trouble tracking systems
Experience with Microsoft Windows installation, configuration and setup
Understanding of database maintenance, such as MySQL
Understanding of analog and digital video and transport stream standards
Thorough understanding of networking concepts including Network topologies, TCP/IP fundamentals, WAN/LAN and Remote Access technologies
Excellent organizational skills
Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Educations and/or Experience:
Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience
Minimum of (3 year) experience with technical support, problem tracking and escalation procedures
