Customer Support Trainer Globe Wireless

Provide technical training to Globe Wireless customer support employees on Globe Wirelesss products and Telecommunication Technology. This position is based in Palm Bay, FL and requires the candidate be willing to travel (possibly up to 90 of the time) to locations throughout North America, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.

Dynamic public speaking skills are essential. Must be motivational and energetic.
Strong leadership skills are required. Must be able to be a facilitator, coach and mentor.
Trainers must be culturally sensitive to the various country and region traits, expectations, and sensitivities.
Creativity is a must. This position will involve creating department and project specific training. Candidates must have ability to think outside the box and design programs to meet a variety of needs.
Ability to communicate and work with various departments locally and internationally including resource planning, human resources, quality and customer support.
Ability to review and make edits to course outlines and training material.
Formal trainig in adult education, instructional design or communication desired.
Ability to successfully deliver and communicate complex technical
training. Should possess basic experience with RF spectrm analyzers and terminology for base stations and channels for each technology. The understanding of commerical wireless technologies, including phone registration and the technologies used by the major US wireless carriers, and wireless data services technologies is desired.
Demonstrated experience in the use of SCORM compliant software such as Captivate or Articulate
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Consults with functional organization to develop specifications for content of courses, prerequisite skills and knowledge for trainees. This involves customization of standard curriculum to meet specific needs.
Works with senior level personnel and business units/technical areas to conduct needs assessments to ensure training needs are met.
Conducts training needs analysis for functional and skill-competency based job requirements across operations using surveys, focus groups, interviews, and analysis of performance data.
Participates in the selection and guide development of system training tools to ensure that requirements are practical and easy to use, facilitate effective learning, and are cost effective.
Delivers customer support effectiveness training courses, and other training programs along with any procedural training.
Designs and conducts train-the-trainer session(s) to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities of selected line personnel.
Remains informed of and maintains proficiency with applicable company products or new and revised policies, procedures, as identified.
Coordinates, schedules, and presents training classes in hosted Web site use, various hardware, software, and related peripheral equipment for individuals or groups, in person or via Webcast.
Develops, evaluates, and assembles class modules, training materials, and handouts; evaluates training programs; conducts assessment for technical training needs by survey, interview or participant evaluation.
Develops technical knowledge on assigned Globe Wireless products and technologies.
Manages all logistics associated courses delivered (i.e. ordering demo equipment and training manuals, interfacing with customer, setting up the training room, etc.)
Evaluates internal and external training courses and identifies ways to improve course curriculums.
Education, Experience, and Job Knowledge
BS in Engineering, BA in Business or other related field.
Minimum of 5 years directly related experience.
Strong communication skills, oral and written.
Effective presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills. The ability to work closely and effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical individuals.
