The Data Analysis Manager will serve as a liaison between the Health Market Science (HMS) sales force, customers and project developers. The responsibilities of this position include taking on a leadership role in the successful delivery of client projects and participating in scope/requirement sessions; creating & managing delivery schedules; building data deliverables leveraging internal tools, and ensuring the quality of HMS products.RESPONSIBILITIES
Support HMS sales personnel throughout various stages of the sales process.
Independently lead Sales, Clients, and Business Analysts in gathering and documenting, and managing project scope.
Utilize HMS resources (technology and personnel) to build and analyze client deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency with project requirements.
Manage delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Independently lead the deliverable review process with clients and other external stakeholders.
Prioritize and respond to post delivery questions, concerns, and training needs of HMS clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred educational background: BS with 4-8 years experience, a public health or epidemiology background preferred but not required
Previous experience working with healthcare data in a Hospital or healthcare payer environment a plus!
Client or vendor side experience in the healthcare industry a plus!
Familiarity with MS Access and Excel, Linux and/or SQL preferred but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both the ability to listen/understand and to clearly articulate complex ideas. Client/customer facing experience preferred
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a solution driven environment
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Interpret and understand complex business processes, and make recommended improvements to the existing processes
Manage communication of project status and requests to and from clients and internal staff
Manage and effectively communicate risks associated with the projects and take appropriate measures to address them
