We are looking for an Excel guru with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to help organize, troubleshoot, and analyze our data. Our external customers provide data in a variety of formats, often necessitating file manipulation before the data can be imported and processed. Internal customers require complex spreadsheets for ad hoc and standardized reporting.
The ideal candidate will be a master at problem solving and use his/her advanced Excel skills to develop, optimize, and enhance departmental efficiency with data processes.
Responsibilities:
Play a major role on our process improvement team.
Transform user needs into data solutions.
Format, organize, and troubleshoot data for import into and export from a variety of data sources.
Create ad hoc and standardized spreadsheets for data comparison, analyses, and validation.
Use conditional formatting and lookup functions to help integrate and organize data.
Create, optimize and enhance Excel templates and data sources for mail merges.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience on the job utilizing advanced Excel skills, including building macros, mail merges, and lookup functions, conditional formatting, and pivot tables.
Experience with Microsoft Access highly desirable.
Basic SQL querying skills a major plus.
Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities.
Experience driving process improvement.
Good communication skills.
Bachelor?s degree preferred, not required.
