DescriptionSummary
Works with Customers, Operations and Project Managers to collect an inventory all submitted booking system data feeds. The data will be screened for reasonableness and imported into a historic database resolving errors as required. Works independently to collect, load current and history data feeds received from our customers, provide ad-hoc reports upon request, and provide analytical insight on data projects.
Minimum Requirements
Education
oA.S. in a computer related field or equivalent experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, or Characteristics
o2 years of experience collecting, processing and analyzing data feeds including error analysis and resolution involving internal and/or external customers.
Helpful / Preferred
oExperience using SQL for data retrieval and correction.
Functions and Responsibilities (?in addition to other duties as assigned)
1.Analyzes data collected and ensures data is being imported to historical database in a timely manner.
2.Works with project team members to collect current and historic data feeds from other data sources.
3.Participates in Data Quality Improvement/Assurance Program analyzing data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
4.Process data expunction requests.
5.Provide ad hoc reports upon request for various Information Services Group projects.
6.Develops ad hoc data queries to verify data against Appriss databases.
7.Provide Tier 3 support services as needed.
8.Assists Database Administrators with dataflow and analysis.
9.Resolves database errors.
10.Continually develops a working knowledge of all Appriss Databases
