DescriptionSummary
Produce operational analysis by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources and providing management/stakeholders with insight into analysis and actionable recommendations.
Minimum Requirements
Education
oBachelor?s degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, or Characteristics
o2 years of experience collecting, processing and analyzing data feeds including error analysis and resolution involving internal and/or external customers.
oSQL knowledge with ability to write complex queries required.
oExperience collecting and reporting data statistics.
oExperience with relational databases
oProficient with excel
oStrong written and verbal communication
oAnalytical
Helpful / Preferred
oExperience with Oracle, Postgres, Access
oExperience developing business intelligence solutions (reports, dashboards, scoreboards) using Business Objects XI or comparable tool helpful
Functions and Responsibilities (?in addition to other duties as assigned)
1.Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, reports, queries, dashboards, systems, or methods to meet business requirements.
2.Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.
3.Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
4.Identify and analyze data trends with business strategy implications and provide recommendations to management.
5.Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools.
6.Communicate with key business partners to stay abreast of industry or business trends.
7.Document specifications for business intelligence or information technology (IT) reports, dashboards, or other outputs.
8.Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.
9.Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
