Job Tasks: You will be responsible for advanced data mining and basic analysis for the Active Networks marketing business. You will query data from mainframes, web analytics systems and corporate data warehouses to support modeling and analysis for marketing initiatives. You will be asked to help draw conclusions from data patterns and provide information to the management team. This position requires extensive experience in data mining and/or data reporting. You must have advanced experience with SQL and superior knowledge of Excel (including macro building), Access and other analytical software applications. You must be a multi-tasker as this position requires the balancing of multiple data requests at any given time. You must obsess over detail and accuracy. You must also be a good communicator as you will have to interact with multiple levels of management. Required Skills: Strong oral and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in SQL on various platforms such as SQL Server and MySQL. Ability to design and use OLAP functions, data cubes, and recursive queries. Expertise in building customized code in SAS including, but not limited to Macro programming, SAS/Graph, GMAP, ODS. Preferred Skills: SAS Base Certification Proficient in UNIX environments Understanding of basic data warehousing principles. |
