Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in pricing and analysis of medical/surgical distribution agreements. This unique position is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical abilities to join our Sales Administration team. The Data Analyst is responsible for reviewing pricing and analytics for agreements with distributors and physician practices. Working closely with the Distribution Sales team, the Data Analyst analyzes and reports on performance requirements, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. This individual will also work closely with Customer Support Services, Marketing, Finance and Legal.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor?s degree in business, accounting, or finance or equivalent experience required. MBA preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of directly related experience required, with experience in contracting and/or pricing preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
Understanding of technical aspects, including language, of contractual agreements for the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry, Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures of medical/surgical sales and distribution relationships preferred.
Understanding of the business case and an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications.
Highly analytical and detail oriented thought processes. Attention to detail and highly accurate.
Strong data validation techniques and concepts.
Extensive computer skills (MS Office Suite: Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word).
Knowledge of Crystal Reports 11.0 and InfoView
Knowledge of SQL Server 2005. Understand table structure and basic queries
Prior experience with ERP and CRM systems strongly preferred (BAAN or MS CRM Dynamics 4.0 desired).
Solid communication skills ? written and verbal.
Ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
Able to negotiate and/or support negotiations.
Works well in a team environment.
Personal ethics and integrity with ability to handle confidential information.
