The Data Analyst is proficient at extracting, understanding, manipulating and conveying complex datasets. This individual works closely with their manager to prioritize tasks that are important to supporting our product and business.
High School Degree or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Confident with SQL, MS BI Products, databases, and internet based software.
Experience quantifying and prioritizing projects that require heavy data analysis.
Attain a high degree of knowledge about MINDBODY?s architecture and infrastructure.
Effectively presents information (oral and written) and respond to questions in one-on-one and group settings.
Learn quickly when facing new problems; will experiment to find solutions or sources to problems; enjoys challenges of unfamiliar tasks.
Use time effectively and efficiently; concentrate efforts on the more important priorities.
Can work autonomously with little direction from department heads.

Write custom SQL queries.
Takes on work related to security and DataService procedures.
Convert existing SQL queries to Stored Procedures and track them through deployment.
Receive, Scope, and Prioritize data requests from the Premium Services team.
Maintain a backlog of data request effectively.
o Prioritize requests from many sources.
o Track tasks as they move through stages of completion.
Expected to analyze data after extraction and present conclusions/results post-analysis.
Contribute to an archive of SQL code for effective reuse by his or her team.
Work directly with the product managers to design products from the beginning with data analysis in mind.
Develop independent research projects.
Develop and maintain new KPI?s and existing KPIs across all PD projects and swimlanes.
Assist in the Defect Tracking team with identification and repair of data defects.
