Data Analyst - (w/weekends) CiDRA
Position Summary:This position is part of a multi-disciplined instrumentation group and will provide strategic and tactical support to the organization by collecting, analyzing and interpreting data. Activities include analysis of product data, development of new data interpretation techniques and optimizing results for reporting. Close collaboration with a team of other disciplines including software engineers and field support personnel will be necessary.
The primary responsibility of the position will be the timely compilation and analysis of product data for clients. In addition, the candidate will be expected to learn custom data interpretation software and through use of the software be able to contribute to a continuous product improvement process designed to optimize the software?s operation. Experience with statistical analysis or other data analysis methods is a plus. This position will be required to work a combination of weekday and weekend hours. Weekend hours can be worked remotely.
Experience:
1+ year data analysis
Education/Skills:
Bachelor?s or Associates Degree
Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software
Experience with analytical programs (can range from Excel to proprietary)
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Responsbilities:
Data analysis and interpretation
Report generation for clients
Continuous improvement of analysis tools and reporting
Close communications with software development and field support teams
Planning and review activities with project team
