Job Description
As a subject matter expert, provide system and process support for the smooth integration of supplier and Silver Spring Networks data, known as the Device Import Files process. Working under minimum supervision, track delivered assets and their combination with supplier data, separate RMA Data and track re-combinations in a proprietary database.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Device Import File Creation and Storage
Verify customer, supplier and internal data for accuracy and consistency
Prepare data files for customers which includes verifying data accuracy and consistency
Load data into Proprietary database for customer use
Process Improvement and Documentation
Work cross functionally internally to ensure data is generated accurately from Manufacturing tools; note data issues and propose resolutions; suggest improvements
Establish communication with suppliers and customers to resolve issues, provide training and establish consistent process
Identify, investigate and propose resolution for data errors and anomalies with suppliers and customers
Required Skills
Advanced MS Excel skills; MS Access skills a plus
Has an understanding of string functions, lookup tables; understands .CSV vs TXTvs XLS
Advanced interpersonal skills ? ability to work effectively with internal contacts, suppliers and customers
Deep analytical skills, strong out-of-the-box thinking and a curious mind
Strong communication skills
Highly detail oriented
Strong organization skills, able to track multiple tasks at once
Willingness to go the extra mile for the customer
Required Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Information Management or related field
2 ? 3 years of demonstrated success in a large enterprise environment
Experience with data management in a fast-paced, high tech environment
Previous experience with customer data integration a plus
Experience with, and a passion for data analysis
