Data Engineer II
The Data Engineer II will be responsible for data transformation and reporting solution connecting client system data to the Renew OnDemand platform. The specialist will play a key role in the implementation and operational maintenance of ETL and Reporting processes within a complex multi-tenant environment. The specialist would identify improvements in tools, processes and product to improve quality and efficiency.
Implementation of transformation from client systems into the Renew OnDemand platform
Configure ETL tool data mappings and connectors using integration products to orchestrate data integration
Development of client specific reports, metrics and dashboards
Support data validation, issue identification and issue resolution
Support data research and data support requests
Work with production data to validate client requirements and behavior
Develop subject matter expertise in the products, systems, and processes
Document the solution, tools and processes for sustenance and operationalization
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience with ETL tools (Boomi, Informatica, Talend) and Reporting Tools (GoodData, Cognos, BusinessObjects, CrystalReports)
Hands on development experience using SQL
Working experience with web services/APIs and document formats such as JSON/XML
Working experience with MongoDB and/or nodeJS a plus
Comfortable using a shell/Linux environment
Solution-oriented, proactive approach coupled with practical knowledge of execution in a high-growth environment
Ability to work in a cross-functional team with both internal business users as well as third party vendors
