1) Design, implement and scale data strategy for data platform and analytics function, 2) Utilize specialized knowledge and education to perform data scaling, clustering, engineering, compression and delivery for a global top 20 publisher, 3) Participate in implementing data strategy, design and architecture while working with the application development teams to utilize the capabilities of company data platform, 4) Create and provide infrastructure using engineering skills to power company's content mining, classification, content optimization, 5) Utilize specialized data skills and knowledge to provide a high availability, massive scale 100% verified accurate system that performs within SLA, 6) Collect transaction data from many sources ensuring breadth, depth and quality of information on which company's services are based, 7) Participate in design and code reviews.
Requires minimum of Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field, or foreign academic equivalent, plus 5 years progressive experience as Data Engineer, Software Engineer, Developer or Engineer. Worksite: 1333 Second Street, Suite 100, Santa Monica CA 90401.
