Data Library Analyst Palamida
As a Data Analyst you will be an integral part of our Library Team, responsible for a multitude of tasks related to our library. You will learn how to analyze and categorize Open Source Software to determine the origin and author, the license type and obligations, security issues and much more. Your daily tasks will include keeping the Palamida Library up to date by collecting new projects and updating existing ones. You will have a chance to participate in various research projects.Responsibilities
This job is perfect for recent college graduates. We use MySQL and Linux and so should you. You are the kind of person who asks not only how to do something, but why. You write scripts because you realize manual work is too slow. When you say you are detail oriented, you prove it by finding things that others forgot. You know how to write a Hello-World program. You?ve been exposed to Open Source Software?which means you have an idea of who Apache Software Foundation is and what General Public License means.
Qualifications
?Demonstrated knowledge of SQL
?Extensive knowledge of Excel
?General Linux/Unix know-how
?Knowledge of Regular Expressions
?Effective written and oral communication skills
?Extremely detail oriented
Education
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Math/MIS/CS/Econ) or relevant technical experience
