Data Migration Specialist, Client Services Greenway Medical Technologies
Responsibilities:Analyze, manipulate and convert data from legacy information systems to a SQL 2008 Server environment.
Work cooperatively with the Deployment Specialist to complete data migration as outlined within the workflow for the client.
Complete assigned tasks as outlined in the client?s project plan and/or as outlined by the Project Manager and/or Deployment Specialist
Escalate client issues to the Deployment Specialist in a timely manner to allow for rapid resolution.
Respect the end users knowledge and emotions during all interactions
Provide accurate and appropriate feedback/reporting regarding the data integrity.
Work with clients to ensure acceptance of the migrated data.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
B.A. /B.S. in technology related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience with data manipulation especially in the areas of SQL, Querying and Excel and Access data conversion tools.
A minimum of 25% travel is required in this role
Programming skills in VB, C, C++ are a plus.
Ability to clearly and concisely document conversion and migration process is imperative.
Candidates must have experience working directly with customers / users to insure that migration and conversion is completed successfully and that all customer expectations are met.
Excellent communication skills and superb demonstrated customer services skills are a must
