The Role:
The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to Blurb?s Operations team. This role is responsible for gathering, reporting, and analyzing data on a regular basis. Candidate must be able to accurately report, analyze, understand and articulate data results. Primary day-to-day duties involve working closely with functional leads to ensure analysis and performance measurement is accurate and actionable. This position reports to the Senior Manager for Blurb?s Operations team.
Responsibilities:
Report and Analyze global pricing and product margins; identify, investigate, and able to explain anomalies
Measure partner performance on a weekly and monthly-basis
Conduct product quality survey, quantify feedback, and share results
Reconcile monthly Printer and weekly Shipper invoices
Assist in preparing analysis for Executive Team and Board of Directors
Provide ad hoc data reporting and analysis to support Senior Manager and Operations team
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably with an emphasis in data analytics
Advanced-level MS Excel experience (e.g. multi-conditional functions, pivot table/graphs, vertical and horizontal lookups)
Comfortable managing and cross-referencing large data-sets
Proven analytic and quantitative skills with an attention to detail and data accuracy
Proven success in a fluid, fast-paced environment
Team player with a genuine interest in contributing to the team and company
