Position Overview:
Core Performance is seeking an experienced professional to provide research and data analysis support for planning and decision making. Reporting to the Director of Research, the position is responsible for:
All statistical analyses and related procedures for all Core Performance (CP) datasets.
Developing and carrying out statistical analysis plan in accordance with key research questions on regular cadence and as needed.
Assisting in the development of processes/systems to oversee and carry out analyses.
Developing written analysis manual of procedure.
Working with CP staff to coordinate data pulls.
Developing and managing of various databases including survey scoring and data cleaning (as needed.)
Preparing reports, timelines and other documents as needed for analyses and client progress reports.
Working with staff to coordinate research activities, develop client progress reports and related materials.
Providing expertise in various research and analysis services and technical support to accomplish the company?s research needs including, but is not limited to: designing, programming, maintaining databases; performing statistical analysis and interpretation of data.
Creating, coordinating and maintaining project timelines to ensure department or interdepartmental projects are completed on schedule and budget.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Education Bachelor?s Degree required; Master?s Degree (+) preferred
Minimum Experience 3-5 years (w/ Bachelor?s Degree); 1-3 years (w/ Master?s Degree)
Experience in database development, management (including data entry, transposition) and data cleaning (including survey scoring).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to write, speak and present information clearly and concisely to a wide variety of audiences.
Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
Experience developing and implementing statistical analysis plans and methodology
Ability to adapt and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to identify and critically evaluate challenges to develop strategic solutions.
Experience with advanced graphing, chart, table development.
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in research methodology, both quantitative and qualitative, and in statistical analysis techniques.
Demonstrated experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing surveys.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Power Point and Word, SAS, SPSS and or STATA.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to manage competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to complete assignments on time and with a high degree of quality and responsiveness.
Demonstrated ability to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Ability to successfully complete a background check
Demonstrated knowledge of assessment and requirements gathering for information systems.
Experience in creating databases and reporting solutions.
Knowledge and use of complex descriptive statistics.
Ability to summarize information, reason logically, draw valid conclusions, make appropriate procedural recommendations and initiate action accordingly.
