The ideal candidate will be analytically savvy and will have previous experience developing and executing acquisition, retention and engagement strategies that meet our business objectives. It?s important this person be comfortable working 360 degrees across customer touch-points to craft strategies and participate in campaign execution.
Data Scientist (Consumer)
Experienced in retention, engagement and life cycle marketing
Familiar with email marketing best practices, A/B and multivariate testing
Adept at database marketing and analytics, including segmentation and regression analysis
Experience with statistical software, including SAS, SPSS or similar
An Excel guru
Experience with CRM software, including Salesforce and leading email service providers (e.g. ExactTarget)
Experience with marketing automation software (e.g. Marketo, InfusionSoft) preferred
Experience with web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture)
Skilled at working cross-functionally and serving multiple internal clients
Comfort working in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Experience developing customized and dynamic content, trigger based emails and mobile messages/alerts
Develop and manage the internal marketing roadmap that meets larger business objectives
Develop, implement, measure and optimize message and content testing
Comfortable (and confident!) owning the down and dirty details of monthly budgets
Navigate the company, get to know your peers, help them with their initiatives, and work with them to get yours done.
Work with internal clients to help them define strategies and identify when/if marketing can help them meet their goals
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years experience in CRM marketing and email marketing
Analytical, curious and a strong mix of left and right brain
Proven track record of success in driving measured Marketing programs and tracking (web analytics a plus)
Experience using Google Analytics, Omniture
Knowledge of CRM software such as SFDC
Knowledge of marketing automation software such as Marketo or InfusionSoft
Knowledge using statistical software, including SAS, SPSS or similar
Demonstrate highly developed written and verbal communication skills, tact, assertiveness and business acumen
Solid organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities
Self-starter that can launch programs within budget and manage multiple timelines
Exceptional team player with the ability to work cross functionally to achieve results
Excellent analytical skills and a passion for data driven marketing
Strategic thinker with hands on experience and solid attention to detail
Ability to be flexible and self sufficient, confident and creative
Entrepreneurial spirit coupled with an intellectual curiosity and drive
